Lum Bunn & Son Produce

I stumbled upon this place while out shooting in the Sacramento Delta region of Northern CA. From the outside, it looked like a plain corrugated metal building, but once inside, a treasure from the past was revealed. Rows and rows of skate conveyors for ferrying boxes of produce from the far end of the plant to delivery trucks. But possibly the most amazing sight, a dolly with boxes of dried-up corn, as if the last delivery was still waiting to be shipped.

I can’t be 100% certain it was the name of this place, but the words “Grower-Packer Lum Bunn & Son” were on many of the crates there.
